The number of IP addresses of computers in virus-infected computer networks (IP Botnet) has decreased sharply from more than 2 million IP addresses to over 1.3 million from September 18 so far.
The Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team (VNCERT) has saved 2,117
internet protocol (IP) addresses of government agencies infected with
botnet in the first half of this year.
At least one million Vietnamese computers have been exploited by foreign
botnet networks for use in delivering more than 3.33 billion spam
messages a day, and they could also be used to attack national
information technology (IT) systems.
